Sutton House is a structured residential transition program located on our 12-acre campus in Ebensburg, PA. Designed for older youth preparing for independent living, the program builds the confidence and practical skills needed for a successful transition to adulthood.

Ideal Placement Fit

Intended for youth who have completed treatment in another program, or who are continuing to resolve remaining structural goals while requiring placement until a permanent community option is achieved.

Our step-down transitional environment emphasizes essential adult capabilities across four program lines.

Independent Living Preparation

Practical, hands-on instruction in daily living skills, personal health management, and community integration to ensure long-term community success.

Vocational & Employment Readiness

Targeted support through structured career pathways and programs to secure and maintain meaningful employment.

3.

Financial Literacy & Responsibility

Essential coaching in budgeting, banking, resource allocation, and taking ownership of personal adult decisions.

Continuous Educational Planning

Direct alignment with academic providers for school placement, individualized tutoring, credit recovery, or graduation pathways.

Admission Requirements & Guidelines

Who We Can Serve

  • Youth with low to moderate risk assessment scores who can engage with our supportive, staff-secure transition models

  • Males ages 14-20

We Cannot Accept

  • Active chemical dependency
  • Severe physical safety risks to self/others that exceed a staff-secure setting

  • Firesetting/arson convictions
